IAM Publications
The publications of the Institute of Archaeomythology include the Journal of Archaeomythology, published online, collected papers from international symposia, and monographs on archaeomythological themes.
The online Journal is available for complete access and download to current members of IAM. (See membership page for enrollment information.) Non-members are able to access the table of contents, Introduction, and abstracts of articles in the current and archived issues.
Books, monographs, and other listed items can be purchased by printing out the online order form and sending a check or money order (in US dollars or
Euros) to the IAM addresses in the United States or Europe.

The Neolithic Vinča culture (6th-5th millennia BC) occupied a large area of present day Serbia and Montenegro and as well as regions of Bulgaria and Romania.
This map, expertly drawn by A. Kapuran and adapted for “Sign of Civilization” by A. Starović, shows the geographical location of some of the most famous engraved Vinča artifacts.
